To limit pollution generated by surface treatment activities, CORELEC Equipements designs and manufactures air and water decontamination processes that respect the environment, current regulations. Our Environment department offers a range of complete solutions  for industrial effluent treatment.

Initially applied to surface treatment processes, by recruiting the right specialists, we have been able to successfully extend our solutions to all industrial activities (aerospace, oil & gas, chemistry, nuclear, construction, automotive, luxury, industry, healthcare, waste recycling etc.).

Drawing on decades of experience and CORELEC Equipements’ numerous fields of business expertise, the Environment department also provides services for the sizing, design and manufacture of equipment for the treatment of vapours (waste gases).

Our solutions and processes for industrial liquid waste

To guarantee the best treatment solution, the processes offered by CORELEC Environment always consider the best available techniques. We are also anticipating the tightening of rejection standards around substance-related issues (REACH), in order to offer the most sustainable solutions and processes and guarantee the safety of your investment.

VACUUM EVAPORATION AND CONCENTRATION

Vacuum evaporation and concentration are thermal processes allowing the separation of water and dissolved salts for the recycling of treated waste. CORELEC Equipements offers a range of solutions covering all your needs, from 0.15 m³/24h up to 240 m³/24h.

Our different processes:

  • High vacuum and low temperature : heat pump system (PAC)
  • Partial vacuum and high temperature: mechanical vapor compression system (CMV)
  • Hot/cold water system
  • Concentrate system to extract dry matter
  • Any additional system for special designs (technological coupling: multi-stage evaporation)

Reduction in the volume of waste:

If the objective is to reduce the volume of waste produced, evaporation processes can be applied directly to the waste. The use of evaporators can also be extended to the shedding of certain pollution flows on conventional structures where treatment may compromise overall performance or where the substances discharged are not compatible with current standards.

PHYSICO-CHEMICAL TREATMENT

Physico-chemical processes are implemented when the aim is the discharge of wastewater to the outlet.

ION-EXCHANGE AND RESIN ABSORPTION RESINS

Filtering of ion-exchange resins.
Pre- and/or post-treatment by filtration on activated carbon.

MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGIES

ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE STATION ON SITE

Facilitating the full recycling of treated waste, this solution combines several technologies, in particular:

  • Demineralized water production
  • Conventional physico-chemical conditioning or using membrane technology
  • Finishing using vacuum evaporation and condensation
  • Post-treatment of distillate (according to the desired quality of recycled water)
  • Final reduction of waste through a concentrator

Besides generating potential contaminants in the form of liquid waste, the majority of industrial surface treatment processes also generate gas emissions.

Our Environment department specialises in the design, construction and commissioning of tailor-made solutions allowing the treatment of these waste gases in compliance with current environmental standards and emission limits.
